Yeah, I lived in the suburbs of Boston as a child. I’ll be a Bruins fan for life. What’s funny though is that I’ve been to more Lightning games over the course of my life (I lived in central Florida for many years as a teenager/adult). Wouldn’t necessarily call myself a TB fan, but I hold no ill will towards them either.

To be honest, the only teams I really dislike are the Blackhawks, Red Wings, and Rangers. Not sure why that is, but hey, fandom is weird sometimes.

There’s teams you fear, and teams you hate. There’s a difference. It’s hard to hate on the Lightning... but ain’t nobody wants to take them on in the playoffs. Then there’s teams like the Habs, Sabres and Sens. THEY MUST BE CRUSHED. Weird thing is, none of those are good teams yet the Leafs struggle mightily with them. Consistently.

Then there’s teams I just forget exist... Is it just me that forgets Dallas has a hockey team?

When I quickly browse the standings, and I see Minnesota listed, it occasionally takes me a second or two to remember that they are not the North Stars. I also rarely give Arizona a 2nd thought about much of anything.
